This is an old design I made a long time ago, but this time I update it a bit and add some expressions and poses for the character.
He is a highly trained funny guy, but acts like an amateur, wears an eye patch as part of his character, is not blind but has a particular ability with his left eye due to extra vision mutation.

The monkey represents the spark, the grace of playfulness and irreverence, it is joy of the soul, it is a totem of power so I wanted to make this monkey king powerful and mystical, graceful and superb, I decorated it with bright tattoos with ethnic and magical art features that are part of my artistic exploration and style.
